The lecture was attended by PG Students and faculty Members of SIMS & RH.
Dr. Chinnadurai R Completed MBBS from Stanley Medical College Chennai & MD from CMC Vellore.. He is closely associated & is an Active Member of Jeevasarthakathe, Govt of Karnataka Origination to over sees the implementation of transplantation of human organs Act 1994 across the state.
He plays a pivotal role in creating awareness programmes through hospitals, educational institutes, corporate and NGO’s. He has 25 Years of experience in Critical care management. & 15 Years of Personal involvement in more than 175 organ donation in Karnataka.
He shared Valuable information on the role of Jeevasarthakathe / SOTTO in Organ Donation emphhasizing on the importance of organ donation. He explained about the process of organ retrieval, principles & protocols of organ donation, legal formalities, declaring brain death and maintaining donors in the ICU.
