Ongoing Research Projects

1. Comparison of varying doses of dexmedetomidine to 0.25% levobupivacaine in ultrasound guided supraclavicular brachial plexus block for upperlimb surgeries: a randomized controlled trial

2. Comparision of intrathecal dexmedetomidine and fentanyl as an adjuvant toisobariclevobupivacaineforinfraumbilical surgery.

3. Comparison between pressure and volume controlled ventilation in providing better ventilation for obese patients undergoing elective laparoscopic procedures :randomised controlled trial

4. A comparative study of esmolol bolus versus esmolol infusion in altering the stress response to endotracheal intubation in patients posted for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia.

5.Comparative study of the effect of nebulised lignocaine, intravenous lignocaine and lignocaine spray for attenuation of hemodynamic response to laryngoscopy and intubation in patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia.

6. A comparative study of efficacy of transdermal patch versus intra muscular diclofenac in postoperative management of pain of abdominal surgeriesUnder spinal anaesthesia.

7. Effect of pre-emptive oral pregabalin vs oral clonidine for postoperative analgesia in infraumbilical surgeries under spinal anaesthesia.

8. Comparative study of effect of hyperbaric levobupivacaine and hyperbaric ropivacaine0.5% for elective lower5 abdominal surgeries under spinal anaesthesia

9. Comparison of the efficacy of Ropivacaine in providing post operative analgesia before creation of pneumoperitoneum versus end of surgery in patients undergoing laparoscopic Cholecystectomy”

10. A comparative study between intrathecal levobupivacaine with fentanyl and levobupivaciane with buprenorphine on hemodynamics and duration of analgesia in patients undergoing infraumbilical surgeries.

11. A comparative study between intrathecal levobupivacaine with fentanyl and levobupivaciane with buprenorphine on hemodynamics and duration of analgesia in patients undergoing infraumbilical surgeries.

12. Comparative Study of effect of airway nebulization with lignocaine 2% and ropivacaine 0.5% on intubation response in patients undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia

13. Awake fibreoptic intubation and anaesthetic management of a patient with huge thyroid mass causing tracheal deviation to the left : a case report.

14. Thoracic segmental spinal anesthesian elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgeries: A feasibility study.

15. Spinal anaesthesia foa a case of s/p intradural schwannoma excision and L1 – L4 laminectomy posted for lower segment cesarean section.

16. comparative study of the effect of lignocaine nebulisation and spray for attenuation of hemodynamic response to laryngoscopy and intubation in patents undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia.

17. Anesthetic management of Laparascopic cholecystectomy with mitral stenosis under general anaesthesia.
