The Department of Radiology, Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences, Tumkur is a state of the art imaging and Radio-diagnosis facility, having 24 x 7 USG, CT, MRI and X-Ray facilities. It is one of the premier locations for a fast and accurate diagnosis.  It boasts an array of cutting edge technology, ranging from modern USG machines from reputed brands like General Electronics and BPL; A state of the art 16 slice revolution CT machine from GE; A 3.0 Tesla MRI machine from GE and 300 mA, 500 mA and 600 mA X Ray machines along with mammography unit as well. Facilities for bedside USG and Radiographs is available.

The department is well trained and experienced in conducting an array of complex tests like contrast enhanced studies, USG guided biopsies, CT guided biopsies and many more.

The department also takes pride in the well rounded training of 9 Junior Residents, impacting them with knowledge, experience and the tools to be great radiologists in the future.
